SAN MARCOS -- Maira Garcia is a graduate student, the editor of her college newspaper and a self-described political geek.
"Anything politics, I'm on top of it," Garcia said.
So for this year's presidential campaign, the Texas State University-San Marcos student naturally decided to jump into the fray. She'll represent Texas as one of 51 young people from across the country chosen by MTV to cover the campaigns.
