Conference tackles rights in 5 areas

The best tools students can have are knowledge of and understanding of diversity, Dallas Staples, former Charleston police chief, said Tuesday.

Speakers at West Virginia State University's second Human Rights Conference wanted students to expand that knowledge.

This year's focus was on "Human Rights in the 21st Century."
