I use to go to a sci-fy board based in the UK the word peeps and the word bugger are used a lot

Well it don't mater, I really liked this realy nice guy who used the word bugger a lot was a really nice guy. I had also made friends with one of the girls there, she went by the user name *Princess Ivy* I helped her through a divorce from her abusive husband. So ya I'm familiar with some of the UK expressions.
