O, hush child. It was a joke. You've been taking a lot of this way too seriously. Neither you, I, Hypatia or anyone else HAS to id as a transsexual, or TG or anything at all.

You're a woman, hon. Just rest in that and be at peace. All this argument and slashing lately has accomplished nothing but alienating one lot of us from another lot.

Be yourself, Rach. Please, please, please just be you. That's where each of us must go to find any peace and comfort at all. Someone else wants to go another way? Well, okay. They go another way. I can go mine and they threaten or invalidate me not at all. Only I am able to do those things to myself.

You have a beautiful and wonderful spirit. It's strong and vibrant just the way a young woman's spirit should be. Don't allow it's power and beauty to drain away in meaningless confrontation with what cannot truly be confronted except within one's own self.

I have a lot of admiration for you, girl. Even if I occasionally wanna just shake you! ;)

I wasted a lot of my life not simply being myself. Don't you too.

Hugs,

Nichole

I do not identify as trans, any more than I identify as hepatitis. I support gay and lesbian and trans equal rights just because it's the right thing to do. I would still do it if I were a straight woman.

My sentiments exactly. As long as there's discrimination on ANY basis, it HAS to be opposed.
