State shuts Randolph Country Club: Bar's failure to comply with sprinkler law induces ABCC to immediately suspend liquor license

RANDOLPH - The state Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission has shut down Randolph Country Club because the building lacks a working fire sprinkler system.

The commission suspended the club's liquor license indefinitely Thursday afternoon after a 90-minute hearing during which club representatives came under sharp questioning from commissioners.
