The first one I can think of is a bit obvous, for example, using the men's room (I'm not far enough along to use the ladies room yet, though sometimes I feel like I should given what happens when I use the men's room sometimes). Like, standing at the mirror in the men's room, fixing my hair, I'll see in the reflection someone walk in behind me, give me a startled look, back out, and than come back in again to give me a bit of a nasty look, haha.
But more interestingly, I noticed something else that happens occasionally. I might be with one of my uncles (one of which knows, but I think he's still trying to "toughen me up", haha), and I'll be introduced to someone I don't know. This is the interesting part. Now, there's two types of handshakes I realize men give. Either they'll give the big hard ruff "squeezing contest" kind when two men shake hands, or the kind where they clasp your hands sideways in there's and kind of just hold them for a second... the kind they give to women. Well, even having been introduced as "insert male name" and me saying "hello" in a perfectly male voice, I still get the latter handshake. It's really awkward for a second, because I know I'm not presenting as female (well, more androgynous), but it gives my heart the biggest smile.
Do people have any other similar experiences, maybe humorous ones?
