Dear Colleagues,

The University of Manchester has published a brief article by Dr
Simona Giordano, a member of the team that met in London in May 2005
to discuss medical care for gender variant adolescents:

The article refers to two others, written by Dr Giordano:

> " Gender Atypical Organisation in Children and Adolescents: Ethico-legal
Issues and a Proposal for New Guidelines": The International Journal of
Children's Rights, Volume 15, Numbers 3-4, 2007 , pp. 365-390(26)

> " Lives in a chiaroscuro. Should we suspend the puberty of children with
Gender Identity Disorder?", which has been accepted for publication in the
Journal of Medical Ethics.

Kind regards,

Bernard Reed
