Illinois Supreme Court Says Poor Transgendered Petitioner Entitled to File for Name-Change {blog}

In a brief order that said nothing about the merits of the case, the Illinois Supreme Court has ordered the Will County Circuit Court to accept for filing a petition by a transgender woman to change her name and to sue as a poor person and to receive a written decision.
