Hi Natalie my wonderful sister, I am so sorry to hear you got bumped back again, I know how very hurting and disappointment this can be. Wing Walker sends you hugs amidst all of this.

Hey sis, if you have a desire to, you are more then welcome to come to Vancouver, we always have the room for one more.

HUGS FROM BOTH OF US.

I'd love to visit sometime. :) I probably wouldn't move there until after surgery, so I don't end up stuck in the BC system since sometime this year I'll get surgery through the AB system. Pretty much all of my friends are going through that started around the same time I did. I've been FT longer then several who are getting surgeries in April. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong that gets me delayed. But I try to look at the bright side: I moved to a new apartment with an awesome roommate. I'm hopefully getting a better and much higher-paying position at work. I get a few more months to actually afford taking a couple of months off for surgery (one thing I'm afraid of is that I won't be able to afford to take time off work to have surgery, and I'd have to delay it myself... that would be hard, knowing it's there waiting for me, everything is approved, and I can't afford to take two months off). Also, I now have a new girlfriend. So, I try to see the silver lining despite the set backs. And it could be worse, I could be living somewhere where there is no program, no funding, no anything. I have it better off than many others, even if there are set backs.

Hi Natalie, thanks for responding and I am glad to hear you are OK for it. Well Wing Walker and I have been attending the meeting pretty regularly every week here. Well it does appear that they actually process people through the system for SRS. But as you have pointed out it depends where on the availability list you are before being processed to the final product which is supplied by the surgeons.

I have specifically asked about if anyone has been pushed back and the answer came back as NO ONE  gets pushed back unless they didn't pass the requirements. Eventually one gets to see the nice shrinks to approve you. Ehhhh to me it sounds like a bunch of bureaucratic paper pushing. Still I need to know methods on how they process transfolks  How the whole process works for when we open the drop in center and support group here in Surrey
