'"Women can discuss the differential treatment between genders," Robinson-Smith said, "and the need for equality, because many women still don't have it." Chairwoman Katie Rosapepe wrote in the program note: "The Symposium offers an opportunity to expand people's social justice knowledge. It also empowers a larger network of Women of Color and allies at WSU and across the United States." The symposium begins Friday and features keynote speaker Sylvia Guerrero at 7:15 p.m.
