I don't get the gay, gay gay Logo channel, but thanks to the power of the Internet, I was able to purchase and download their latest entry into the reality-dating show category: Transamerican Love Story, starring a trans woman and eight bachelors who vie for her heart. Before you slap your forehead, know that the setup is nothing like There's Something About Miriam, a similar show where the entire "haw haw" gag was that the bachelors didn't know the star was trans. The entire cast knows that Calpernia Addams is a transsexual, and they're all up-front in the first episode about their own dating histories too. Interestingly, the cast is quite a mixed bag of sexual preferences and identities and experiences (or lack thereof) with trans women. Less interestingly, the guys are mostly a bunch of boring schlubs... but that sort of fits with the "frog prince meets princess" theme they keep subtly inserting.

I get LOGO but I keep forgetting to watch it.   Thursday night I found LOGO by accident again and they were showing a show called 'bad girls' about a women's prison.  It was okay.  Some of the prisoners have relationships and there's a lot of drama going on with everybody.  It's not 'hamlet' but it's amusing.

Plus, the women are so lovely.  There's all types; fem, butch, soccer mom, women in uniform.

Why am I wasting my time writing this?  I'm going to see what's on LOGO tonight.

its on monday night  10:00 pm  (centeral time) and I have got to admit couldnt they pick better guys   she booted the only guy I would have picked at first the actor   who knows if its realy real   but a good show in all  me and my sister watch it every monday togeather
personly we do like some of the things that they have on the LOGO chanel  then there are our girls on BBC that have a show how clean is your house   we didnt relise it but there are some pigs in this world the other show that we like is you are what you eat  also on BBC  she is a little rude but so truthfull about diets  we have gotten a lot of hints from her and we have both lost weight doing some of the things that she shows I personly have lost 55Lbs in 4 months  and I feel so much more energetic
think about this wouldnt it be nice if they did a extream makeover with people in the trans population  young and old alike
just a thought

I just realized that the reason I forget that Logo exists is that it's on a high channel and it's skipped over in TV guide.

I wonder if this is on purpose?   there are lots of unused channels below 181 in our area.  I tend to surf up to about 69 then stop because the channels get more esoteric or theme related above that.   I guess some people would consider LOGO a theme channel.

For some reason, I like shows where anybody can express their interest in anyone else.  It makes me feel like I'm in the world I belong to.

bad girls is a very cheesy english programme made for ITV, the crap terrestrial station - there is currently a musical of it playing at the west end. The logo of the musical is a glitter ball and chain.

the 2 episodes were fun.  I know they were cheesy, but you haven't been subjected to American crapavision day in and day out.

It would make you wish you were in prison with no TV.
