Hello everyone. I have been lurking around this site for the past 2 years and finally decided to join.
I knew there was something different about me from an early age (6) and even my mother said I should have been a little girl. However it was not to be and I grew up as a male. I married and had a long happy marriage (49 years), despite wanting to be a girl and decided to forego transition. Two years ago my wife died. I had been using herbs with her knowledge, for two years before her death. 6 months later I started HRT. A bit late in life but something I had wanted all my life.  Transition is proceeding slowly but I am enjoying my second life. Pity I did not start earlier, but I had her to consider. I am now 74 years young, but unfortunately too late for SRS. Such is life.

Hey Joanne

Welcome to Susans. Though I suppose having been around for two years already, you should know your way around pretty well!  ;)

Welcome and enjoy, I am 56 and just started transition 5 years ago. It's a race to see if I get SRS before I get too old or kick the bucket!
