Hey all,

Well how many imes will I get burned before I listen? Untill may 1st, when hopefully i'm moving into the college dorms, my fate is undecided.

My landlady, who is ts, is forcing me out by the 14th of april. She is doing this because I told her I was unable to care for her dog and stay the full two months we had agreed on. I told her I was planning to start college so I could get into my field faster, classes start the 5th of may. She told me that unless I could guerentee that i'd stay untill the 14th of may, i'd better find a new place to stay. I offered to not only pay a full $1,100 dollars to rent untill may 1st, but care for the dog for free untill may 1st when I take him to the kennel. I've tried all I can think of to please this couple, but unless they come to their senses...or if they do.

So wish me luck, I plan to write TGEA about this...person. She has repeatedly threatened my safty when I was in the military, now she is trying to threaten my very life. All because I want to get on with my life. >:(

So hopefully I can put in a post on May 1st, but untill then...

Goodbye my friends, and wish me luck. :'(

Luana, hopefully this is only a temporary setback and that you will soon be able to reconnect to Susan's.

In the mean time take care and we will probably still be here when you get back :)

These unfortunate things happen. Doesnt matter how lucky you are or how well you plan. I guarantee you, its only momentary. Say what you feel and believe what you say and youll have no problem getting alternative accomodation. Do everything with passion and youll go anywhere you want.
Im in college myself, but not renting accomodation. Most people I know are though. You will not go without a place to stay. I assure you. Tell her to send the doggie to Ireland and Ill look after it, I love doggies :D
Regardless of anything, you know you always have Susans to come to. I wish you all the best. Let us know how things fold out.

                     Love everyone,
                     love everything,
                     love yourself,

Well may first is here, but i'm not in arizona, yet.  ;)

For the next year at least i'll be working on getting my paramedic certification. Somehow in the medical sense this slipped my mind as an option. I'm attending the college of DuPage in Illinois, Chicago for my certification and I have to say, the place is huge. I've found a place to stay nearby, but due to financial reasons, I probably won't be able to continue transition untill at the least, next spring, maybe even up till graduation. A large reason is the fact the goverment is asking for their bonus back because I didn't finish my term of service...even though it was at their convieniace. ??? Oh well.

As usual things are crazy, I won't have steady access to this site because I have a sinking feeling that the college web will block this site. Panara, a local free internet cafe, i know blocks it. I'll be popping in now and then untill something more solid comes up.

In the mean time, thank you all for your concern and care, this is going to be a tight squeeze, but I think I can continue trans and college come spring. Once, of course, the grants and scholorships I hope to get start coming in. Wish me luck yall! :D

Colleges often tend to be quite liberal regarding internet access.  Academic freedom, including the freedom to research any subject of interest, is an important value at most colleges (not all but most).  Colleges are often more concerned about their students downloading music (because of copyright issues and because it eats bandwidth on the network).
