Tonight ABC Nightline will profile a transgender Microsoft executive.   There's coverage on the website today.   Looks like an interesting story.   As the article notes, the executive as a blog.  It's quite interesting and I commend it to you.

Note particularly that Michael was married to a woman and remains married to her.   You might wonder whether this makes either Megan or her wife (or both) lesbian.   (The question is briefly addressed in the blog FAQ.)  The thing to notice is that it is actually a tricky question to answer.   And that offers some insight into why transgender issues can be seen as threatening for lesbian and gay communities.
