"The report, which came out Feb. 19, stated that civil unions failed for a number of reasons. The commission pointed out that people in civil unions sometimes have trouble getting insurance for their partners. It also said the fact that the LGBT individuals are not allowed to formally marry in any state other than Massachusetts creates a feeling of inferiority within the community."

Pseudo-marriage in the U.S. is why I married in Canada.
