Anyone else having freakish weather?  Seriously, it was 70 degrees on Monday...it's Saturday.  What's going on?

Well, around these parts, they say March is the snowiest month.

Anyway, who cares about the weather -- we have an extra hour of sunlight in the evening starting tomorrow!!!  :eusa_dance: (sez the vitamin D junkie)

Weather is screwed up all over the world hon. Apparently this has been the mildest winter in London in like, ever, with February being the sunniest of those on record. In fact, all sorts of records got broken this year - highest nighttime temperature, least snow, all sortsa stuff.

Meanwhile, back home in South Africa, we had snow last year - the whole country, just about, and not a little bit. This in a place that ranges from tropical to desert and savannah.

Now, I would blame global warming, but I don't want to start a debate ...  ;)

I live in NH, we're breaking all previous snowfall records from the 1800s throughout the entire state. Our town has had 130 inches of snow so far, and it's only early March!! I'm very tired of shoveling... not just the paths but also trying to get frozen snow and ice off of the porch roof!!

glad i'm not alone in the crazy weather...it just doesn't snow like this in KY, not just in march, but ever!  we might get a snow like this once or twice a decade.  i'm a little sore though...i think my snowman building form was a little off.  *ugh*  hurts to move...

QuoteSo it's March, right? Then why is it snowing...

The overall temperature of the earth is increasing.; it's called global warming, but as it does so, it creates many changes in climate back and forth.  As a result, you will see more extreme weather patterns in some places, snowfall in deserts or hot temperatures in countries like Iceland for instance.

Yes, the end is coming....

...Actually, I have a degree in geography, so I do know the scientific reasons behind it... :P  I was just voicing my awe for the snow.  And I wanted everyone to see the snowman I built.

I agree.

Did you see his picture?  He has a mohawk!  I had to fix him up a bit today...one of his chocolate eyes fell off and his mohawk came out...poor guy.  I made him better though.
