Queer Film Festival maintains a long-term balancing act

"MELBOURNE'S Queer Film Festival has been part of the city for a long time. It's in its 18th year, and it attracts a solid audience. It is, as director Lisa Daniel points out, a notable event in broader context. "There are about 100 queer festivals worldwide, and in terms of size and longevity, we're in the top five."
