Hey Phoenix,

Why so glum? Being a girl isn't about being feminine. It's about being who you are. Sure some of us are feminine but there are lots of girls who are boyish too. It doesn't mean they are FtM. Stop trying to be something else and just be you. You don't have to apologize either. Besides I would hardly call 2 sentences a rant.  ;D

Just be yourself. Let your mind relax and be it's feminine self. Don't worry bout all the other things until your mind is comfortable. Instead of worrying bout how your voice sounds, let your femine mind say the words she wants to say. I think when you can truely be yourself, literally be a woman in a mans body, then you can start taking once step at a time trying to look, move and sound like a woman to others. I believe it must be the opposite of what most try, dressing and appearing female first, then letting their true selves come out.

Hi Phoenix,

As with what the others have said. You can't really change who you are. You can change the exterior but the interior is you. Relax and let the you come forth.

Im not sure if u feel the same way or gotten better. I think the key to your problem is that you need to have confident. if you have confident in yourself and believe in yourself sure your true self will come out. remember that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. so the more u have confident in yourself and see yourself beautiful other will think so too.

you may actually have to "give it up" a few times before you realize that you can't ever give it up . . . after that, things will get easier for you. good luck.  8)

Don't I know THAT one!  :D

If this is who you are, you won't be able to walk away.  I tried for 40 years to do so.  If you don't let the person inside come out, it will eat away at your very soul.

Are you talking with a therapist about your feelings?  If not, you may want to consider it.  Talking abut who you are with a non-judgemental person a really great way to help sort our who you are.

You go, girl!

I think its all about the initial question yu ask yurself.  For years I have asked myself Why am I a male who thinks he/she is a female?   Just recently the question changed to,   When was I ever male?   By what right do I have to say that I am or ever was a male?   When did the male ever show up?  Does just having male sex organs, the y-chromosome, and testeroine make one a male?  Not.  For me the male ego never showed up.   I was a pretend male, a fake, an egotistical female who thought she could be masculine, just because she had male parts.  Girl, I was wrong. >:D
Be true to yourself.  The future will reveal itself in its own due time.    Find the calm at the heart of the storm.    I own my womanhood.

I am a 69-year-old transsexual school teacher grandma & lady.   Ethnically I am half Irish  and half Scandinavian.   I can be a real bitch or quite loving and caring.  I have never taken any hormones or had surgery, I am out 24/7/365.
