Early on Friday Morning, Police Lieutenant Colonel Padoonsuk from Sattahip Police Station was called to Soi Lae Chaimnongkol after locals reported the discovery of the body of a man who had apparently been shot. At the scene Police inspected the body of Khun Sompong aged 42 who had sustained a single gun shot to his head. The victim was known to be involved in various criminal activities in the Sattahip area and was accused of killing a transsexual earlier this year. He was also known to have assaulted his former wife on many occasions according to friends of the deceased. She is now being located by Police and is thought to be the prime suspect in this murder case.
