Hi christy-lee,

May I extend my welcome also.  You are so very fortunate that you can start your journey at such a young age.  Don't wait too long, the time is now!!!

There are a lot of us here who are not so fortunate.  I am more than twice your age and going through the process of transitioning at this point in my life is much more difficult.  Oh how I wished the Internet could have been around when I was growing up.

Anyway enough about me.  I wish you the very best.  I sincerely hope everything works out for you.  And I am also a little jealous of you living in Australia.  I have always wanted to visit there, it seems like a very wonderful place but it is so very far away.  Maybe one day...

All my very best to you,

joanna

Let me add my welcome to the others.

I hope that you find the site to be friendly and a safe place to be.  We have a few other members from Australia as well.  Feel free to join in the topics where you can and I notice that you have already posted to the forums.  Participation, and the wide variety of backgrounds of the members is what makes Susan's such a great place to be.  Take time to explore the site, read the rules and remember we have a Chat area, and the Wiki, which is a great resource to dig through.

Welcome again, you are among friends.

Welcome Christy-Lee!

You don't have to "act" in any way when you're at Susan's except as youself.  You can let the act go, hon'.  That's one of the best things about this "place."

Don't go too fast coming out, almost all of the coming out troubles I've read or heard about came from those who later said they went too fast.  I'm going slowly too even though I have to figuratively smack myself upside the head to keep my mouth shut sometimes!  Take advantage of the great stuff on this site, especially the WIKI, and feel free to ask questions and, if you wish, let us know what your thinking.  I'll be looking forward to reading more from you.

again, WELCOME!!

thanks fellow aussie(newcastle here)

and i was abit confused on wat to put in the male or female box so i put female because it makes me feel more feminine :p

  •

TheBattler

I struggle with putting a feminie name for a while and now I consisder it a nick name or pen name. I know another member that is from the newcastle area but I am unsure if it is good to reveil her name here. I will talk to her online soon and see what she says.

Nice to have a new 'Sheila' here, Christy-Lee.  Welcome and G'day.
