Beacon Hill Stops Casino and Transgender Bills

Not only did Speaker Sal DiMasi annoy the heck out of Gov Deval Patrick by trouncing the casino bill, but the legislature also killed a series of bills related to abortion, transgender rights, gay marriage, and more.
I can't find anything in the newspapers yet, but MassResistance reports that the following bills were sent to study, effectively killing their chances of making any progress during this legislative session:
