So, I'm shopping for breastforms. But, I want a set that will look naturally proportioned to the rest of my body. If I measured properly, my band size is about 42 inches. I'm also 6'1".

Given my height and band size, would B or C look more natural? It seems to me that a key to passing is to look natural, to not look so striking as to draw attention. If the breastforms are overlarge, they'll draw attention; likewise if they're too small.

Recommendations, anyone?

My surgeon who did my BA told me that I should have D cup sized implants.  I was shocked, but he indicated that at my height (5'10") and weight (185lbs) that it was appropriate for me.

To test, I spent the next couple of weeks wearing D cup breastforms and while I felt like Dolly Parton, no one really noticed or gawked.  It took me a couple of days to get comfortable with them, but after that it seemed completely normal.

What I'm getting at is that you should try B, C and D sized forms.  Then honestly ask yourself if that is the way you look best.

Maybe you could buy a few cheap bras of various sizes, pack them out and see how they look. This might give you an idea. There is no 'average'. I think you're more likely to be stared at if they are too big than if they are too small - depends a lot of your build though.

The breast size depends more on frame and band size than height, my band is 34 (going on 32) and I'm 6 foot. For me, a D cup would look ridiculous (I'm 34B). At most I'd like a C, since I'll be soon a 32, I'll probably end up being 32C.

For a 42 band I think a C is a minimum and possibly a D, try both and see which one you like.

This is all great info. Thanks, folks.

I'll have to try the cheap bra thing, as my band size doesn't match my wife's band.
