Hearing about inclusion of transgender protections in KC's nondiscrimination ordinance

While currently, it is illegal in Kansas City to discriminate in housing, employment and public accommodation against gays and lesbians and bisexuals, it is perfectly legal to discriminate against transgender people. If the proposed ordinance passes, this will change.
