"Los Angeles - Legendary filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola has performed what he calls a "sex change operation" on Oscar-winning actor Javier Bardem, changing his role in the family drama Tetro from a man to a woman. The change means that Bardem has now been dropped from the cast to be replaced by Carmen Maura, according to The Hollywood Reporter Thursday. The movie began shooting on Monday in Buenos Aires."
