Lesbian, Gay Group Forming In Highlands

SEBRING — A newly formed group met Thursday night to discuss politics, local norms and ways to make Highlands County a more accepting community.
"We're all wonderful people, and we're going to show it in an adult way," said the group's leader Billy Quercia.
It was the third meeting for the group that is in the process of becoming a county chapter of the National Association of Lesbian, Gay, Bi-sexual and Transgender Centers.
