I would have to say my favorite movie is either The Prestige or Pan's Labyrinth. No idea which one though.

I like The Land Before Time too, but the sequels were horrible.

Gladiator, without a shadow of doubt. I've seen that film so many times. I love it.

The opening is one of my favourite parts of the film.

I can't even begin to think of some of my 'favorite' movies, I like so many.

The spectrum ranges from Dirty Dancing to Beauty and the Beast (Disney version).
Sweeney Todd
Kindergarten Cop
Wild Hearts Can't Be Broken
Untamed Heart (I think that's the right movie. Guy has a babboon heart?)
Encino Man

And so many more. But anything with Johnny Depp gets a huge thumb's up from me.

Master and Commander! Without the shadow of a doubt, the single greatest movie in the world to me. I watch it so much, it drives my friends mad.

But other than that, the Hornblower series and the Sharpe series. Yeah. I love the Napoleonic Wars.
  •

Jaimey

Howl's Moving Castle.  It's pure magic.
Lost In Translation.  Amazing.

Also,

Coraline
Dead Poets Society
Escaflowne
The Crow
The Bird People in China
Kiss Kiss, Bang Bang
Dogma
Tombstone
The Secret Garden
The Little Princess
A Room With a View
Little Women
Jesus Camp
For the Bible Tells Me So
F**K
Superbad

...I could go on and on and on...so I'll stop.
If curiosity really killed the cat, I'd already be dead.

I think that the one movie that would be at the top of my list would be West Side Story.  I am a sucker for a good tear jerker of a love story.

And this is one of the best songs ever, IMHO

West Side Story-Tonight
