"
Back in the '70s when I was stationed in Germany, I lived in a housing
area filled with some people with interesting personalities.

There was a cross-dresser, whose wife helped him with his makeup; a
couple who swapped spouses; and a guy who put a stocking on his face
and terrorized women who were alone. Then there was the childless
couple who never seemed to tire of taking other people's children on
camping or field trips. They were affiliated with a scouting
organization. There was talk about the pair, but we never got any of
the particulars. And like Stockingface, before the couple disappeared,
they had a lot of explaining to do to military law enforcement."
