Cindy wearing a Kimono walks through the door with the string curtain, stops, clasps hands together, closes eyes and bows slightly to April in respect. Ya I got a thing for writing short stories but at this moment all I desire to say hun that your story is pretty well a carbon copy of mine. I have been living a woman for the past 8 years and have only experienced little negativity, maybe I am blessed, I have a whole flock of guardian angels watching over me. "hee, hee, hee."

But living a a woman at times has been a blissful experience. To merge body and soul together as one. I have always been one to love and care for others, and that I have done to the best of my ability. I have also been working as a social worker for the past 20 years and also worked the last 8 years as Cindy.

I have moved to Vancouver from Ontario and I have made some friends and none of them know anything about my past and that is the way I plan on keeping it. Or if I do relate to anything from my past it in the female gender. You see hon, when you get to the other end of transitioning you are no longer the same person you were before literally, and there is no going back, but then who wants to go back to self destruction? Well hon I had more typed out here but I must have hit the insert button and ended up deleting an entire sentence. I do hope that we cross paths again.

Cindy,

i enjoy how you write. maybe you could think about posting a few of your stories in the Poetry and Stories section.

Hi my beautiful friend Ellie. I may do that. I didn't know there was a thread for that here. Yea I do love telling stories. Some are pretty weird though but a nice type of weird. Many of my stories are either from imagination and others from visions.

Cindy Forever young.

It was co-written by a dude, one Ray Burton.  And the band was all male too, and a pretty good one.

In fact, she had one of the best line-ups in LA backing her. The twanging guitar that opens the song was provided by Mike Deasy, whose CV boasts sessions with The Beach Boys, Elvis Presley, Barbra Streisand, The Fifth Dimension and Frank Sinatra. Jim Horn, who had played on The Righteous Brothers' "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'," was on woodwind. The drummer was Jim Gordon, whose credits included The Beach Boys' Pet Sounds and John Lennon's "Imagine". On piano was Michael Melvoin, who had probably played on more Monkees songs than any of the Monkees. There was also Joe Osborn (bass), who had recorded with Billy Joel; Dick "Slide" Hyde (trombone) was a veteran of sessions with Glen Campbell and Bread; and longtime Buddy Rich band member Don Menza played sax. Backing vocals were by Kathy Deasy, whose voice graces records by Johnny Rivers, Kenny Loggins and The Byrds.

that's interesting, Tekla. thanks for sharing.

i've always hated that song. it made me feel that the word "Feminist" was such a misnomer, as though they actually should've labeled themselves "Anti-femmes."

I'm a guy, but I have a kitty...and I like my kitty. Wouldn't trade it for anything but a fully functioning normal sized penis and the ability to orgasm with said penis. But since that ain't happening anytime in the near future...I'll stick with my kitty. So I guess that makes me part female (at least below the waist), and I'd have to say what I like about it is...the 'female' orgasm feels good.

I would love to have a kitty but landlord say's no.

I have always held on to the thought and the true fact that as males, we are always 50% female  ( XY ) and that from my perspective, extraordinary bad luck gave me a penis.  The only comfort I get from this is that it is non-functioning in a sexual context, merely a piece of fat and skin to house the eurethra (sp.) etc.  erections of my youth were a painful and horrific event for me and thankfuly an extremely rare event. I do not recall any similar event for at least 30 yrs therefore orgasm is something I hope for only in the female sense.  All I know is that in my mind and heart and soul, I am as female as any genetic girl, even the Tomboys among us.  My neighbour is a gorgeous leggy size 8 (UK) blonde and is more male than I ever was so I have hope for the future ...... but I still would like a Kitty to love and care for etc... :eusa_pray:

I feel more like myself when my male drive doesn't kick in while cuddling. No sexuality implied when you don't want it, just pure care and love.

I identify as a male androgyne, but it sure seems to me to be a golden era for being a GG.

As an androgyne, I can surely see a lot of advantages for being a female right now, and not so much for being a male.

I'm kind of jealous.

I like having intuition, kind of like a sixth sense. I've always felt it was like a super power being able to feel when something big was gonna happen.

What do you LIKE about being female?

I like the feelings, the emotions and the capacity to love another deeply. And yes after 8 years on estrogen I have intensified intuition and numerous other sensitivities.

Riven, Are you in tune with yourself? If yes, take the most important step towards fulfilment.  Female life is really rather nice, there are hundreds of us here to talk with so why not take advantage of free of charge therapy?
