"The Office of the Ombudsman (in Swedish, this ombudsman has the
acronym HomO) has the general assignment to "counteract homophobia and
address discrimination on grounds of sexual orientation in all areas
of Swedish society". The HomO has the responsibility both to ensure
that the laws and regulations against discrimination on the grounds of
sexual orientation are enforced, and to promote equality and oppose
homophobia."
