My hair is naturally curly and as it's gotten longer its been obnoxious. I got it straightened yesterday I love the result but now I'm worried about how to pass in boy mode. I'm going out Saturday and don't know what to do with my hair. O.O It's a couple inches short of shoulder length and a little too short for a male style ponytail. I'm going to be going out dancing and bouncing around sweating(really hard on hairspray). Anyone who's been in this situation have any suggestions?

Maybe if you curl it tighter you can make a fro, or you could just put in a sweatband and be like those soccerplayer guys with the long hair.

I've got the same problem right now...and I really haven't come up with any good solutions. Unfortunately, I just end up having to wear a baseball hat a lot; but that's not really appropriate for a lot of situations (like dancing). I'm just trying to deal with it until I can get it into a ponytail, because I am definitely not cutting it. I LOVE my long hair!

Hopefully someone else has some more useful input  ;)

hm, correct me if I'm wrong, but your problem is not that you got a real girl hair cut, but just that your hair is rather long for a male?
Well, think about that: what do the "normal" guys do when they want hair long enough to put it in a pony tail? Until then they just let it grow, maybe put it behind their ears, maybe fixing it with some hairspray or styling gel.
How "conspicious" it will look depends on your age of course (my little brother (16) and many guys my age (18) just wear their hair long without doing much with it), but if somebody askes just tell them you want to try that pony tail look--every sensible person will understand that your hair needs to grow first. :)

I don't think you need to worry about that. If the rest of you just looks like any other guy, nobody will think too much about your hair.
