"When a man is a woman

Dito van Reigersberg - popular Philly drag star - plays the title role
in the gender-bending rock musical "Hedwig and the Angry Inch,"
produced by Azuka Theatre. The play, which premiered in 1998 and later
became a 2001 film starring John Cameron Mitchell (who also wrote the
script), has been reconceived by director Kevin Glaccum as a fantasy
in the mind of young German boy."
