Well, I just told my next door neighbor (who has always been cool to me) about myself and he took it well.  Besides the remaining people at work, theres just one more person to come out to.

Hi Melissa:
That's great news!!! how are things going at work?  have you transitioned at work already?

I am one of those girls who didn't transition on the job.  After I went fulltime, I moved, changed jobs and well...started a new life as a female basically.

So I'm usually curious about situations like yours.  Please keep us posted.

Not fulltime yet.  The HR person flies up in a week and we'll proceed from there starting with going over stuff and telling my manager.  The plan is to go fulltime sometime in July.  Work is the biggest determining factor at the moment.

I'm glad your neighbor took it well.
Good luck on telling the last person. It's good you're coming out to your neighbors, you can just be yourself and go about your day tending the garden (if you have a garden) as yourself without any reservations.

I have a place for a garden, but no garden.  He actually thanked me for telling him.  As to the last person, I really don't care what they think, since they are just the neighbors of my mother-in-law, whom I visit frequently.  But it would make things easier.  Last time I talked to them, they asked how things were and I responded with "Things are changing", so it probably won't be a big deal.
