My fat is the visceral kind - in the gut and all solid like. I know that it's the most dangerous kind. Lately, I'm becoming a health nut, cause I NEED my health back.
I was wondering if anyone knew what to do for visceral fat. Just eating right and working out?
Or any special tips?

Great... a topic I feel totally competent to answer.. LOL.
And next to talking about makeup...lol... training is one of
my favorite topics.

There is not a lot of magic... it comes down to the proper
diet... protein to spare muscle and reduced carbs... helps limit
the appetite by keeing the blood sugar level steady and the body
will burn more fat if it has limited carbs to work with.

And combine that with exercise... a mixture of cardio... I think
at least 40 minutes per session and a pretty good heart rate, and
weight lifting. The cardio burns off the fat and the weight lifting
makes the body retain the muscle. It only takes a little weight
lifting for the body to get the message that it needs to keep the
muscle around rather than burning it off during the cardio.

Train the biggest muscles in your body, for GG's thats the lower body
for the most part.

Adjust your calorie intake so that you are losing about a pound a week
on average... at first it will be more if you are like most of us and then
it will slow down... if your losing fat your weight may not change but
your measurements will.

That's a very simplified version but that's really all it takes. There was
another topic recently that some of this was discussed. Had some good
info.

Good luck... it's not easy but well worth it. The last five years or so
I had really given up... went from around 150 to 185. I'm back down to
a stable 155, I have a pretty small frame and I want to get to around
135 or 145. But I think it's going to be a challenge to be on HRT and
try to lose 20 lbs. Time will tell. :)
