"When he jumped into a Stolen VW Beatle he was still cuffed and tore
down I-85 and onto I-77, leaning sideways using shoulders to steer.
He eventually lost control, slammed into the guardrail, crossed the
road and hit the concrete divider.
Police say Giles is transgender. And, they say, he was trying to steal
"I Love Lucy" and "Sex in the City" DVD's."
