That was fun.  I went to the National Theatre in London to see, 'His Dark Materials'.  The play was in two parts on separate nights, and we went to both parts.  Loved it to bits!!!  Very controversial though.
Haven't seen the move version, The Golden Compass.  Might catch it on DVD someday soon.
