"Sen. Jim DeMint apparently had time to burn today and thought he'd give his useless 2 cents.

"Marriage is America's most important institution and it must be cherished and protected. This decision by the California State Supreme Court to overturn the ban on same-sex marriage is the latest in a series of attacks on the sanctity of marriage in this country. We cannot allow activist judges to force their liberal views on American families that overwhelmingly support marriage between one man and one woman."

Yeah.  Nothing existed until America came along.  Thousands of years of human history and cultural changes never happened.  Nobody's marriage meant anything until America happened.  Nobody married in any part of the world other than America knows what a true marriage is and what it means to the married couple.

Families never existed either until America came along.  Nobody was related and they didn't live together or love each other or have little differences that sometimes drove them apart.

Thank God for America.  No one would have assembly lines, family, or a marriage blessed by Dick York, I mean, God, if America weren't here giving a center to whole entire universe.  Some day I'm going to leave America just so I can know the absolute joy of what it is to enter America.

Happy America
Unless you're not an American
in which case, you can just bite it.
