I see stories like these all the time, but this one particularly touched me because the child is attending Chatham Park elementary school, which is where I went to 5th & 6th grade. In fact, it is the school I was attending when I first began coming to terms with the fact that I wanted to be a girl, so the article really touched me.
I can't even begin to imagine how different my life would be if I would have been able to begin living as a girl back then...
