"Recently, Montgomery County, MD amended their non-discrimination law to include protections for gender identity, which effectively bans discrimination on the basis of gender identity in housing, employment, public accommodations, and taxi and cable services. The measure, passed unanimously by the Montgomery County Council late last year and was signed into law by County Executive Isaiah Legget.
