Phalloplasty and scars.

This question is me thinking out loud, because it won't be a pressing issue for a few years. I've never read anything about it, though, so I'm wondering if it's ever been a problem for anyone.

I have a history of cutting. I think I'm okay in saying I don't do it anymore, or at least I haven't for quite a while. My problem is, I have scars on my forearms (both from cutting and from simple accidents) and I'm worried that this could be a problem in the future. Most of them are from a few years ago and I don't think they're very easy to notice.

I'm wondering if scar tissue would make the radial forearm flap procedure riskier, impossible or less productive. Anyone have any ideas?

Hi Tyler,
I wish I could help, but I don't know much about phalloplasty.
I could be wrong, but I don't think anybody here has had a phallo yet.
If your scars have healed and they're not that bad, I don't think it'd be too much of a problem.
In case you didn't already know, the radial forearm phallo is going to leave huge scars on your arm/s.
If godforbid your arms are too scarred for phallo, there's always the abdominal flap procedure.
