"Tom Cruise made headlines when he brought his family to a performance
of Hairspray on Broadway. Tom told my darling Jenifer Lewis (who plays
Motormouth Maybelle) that the film version is little Suri's favorite -
because God forbid Cruise should admit to liking musical theatre
himself! The entire episode reminded me of an anecdote in Andrew
Morton's unauthorized biography of the star."
