Transsexual driving instructor sparks complaint

A gender-swap driving instructor at an all-female firm said today she was "hurt and deeply upset" when the husband of a pupil complained about her.

Emma Sherdley, formerly a married father-of-two called Andrew, was described by her boss as a popular instructor with 32 female pupils on her books.

But Ms Sherdley was left devastated after a man threatened to sue Yorkshire-based Laugh 'n' Pass driving school for sending a man to teach his Muslim wife.
