Reverse of ENDA: Trans Methodists Win While Gays Lose

Earlier this month the United Methodist Church disappointed the lesbian and gay community when it decided against ammending anti-gay language in church laws that consider homosexuality "incompatible with Christian teaching."

While that decision enables the nation's second largest Protestant church to reject lesbian and gay people from membership, in a separate vote, the General Conference failed to adopt similar language in relation to transgender people.
