"This is in response to a May 7 letter from Seth Austen titled "Telegraph earns praise for transgender series."

In it he proclaims the "transgender to be among the most discriminated minority in the state" and refers to them as being discriminated against for "simply being who they are."

Does the term really fit? Is the person who thinks the transgender suffer from a mental rather than physical problem really discriminating?"
