Colo. governor signs LGBT protections

http://www.gay.com/news/article.html?2008/06/02/6Colorado Gov. Bill Ritter signed a nondiscrimination law Friday that offers new legal protections to gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals.
Prior to the signing, Colorado's nondiscrimination law covered only the categories of race, sex, religion and disability.
State Sen. Jennifer Veiga and state Rep. Joel Judd carried the bill that added LGBTs to the list.
