tbh, i have ALWAYS like having women for bosses, no matter how bitchy they may be.  >:D lol
but now that my store manager is gone and i have a co-manager filling in till we have a replacement(she is female and from Florida..yay for me), i talked to my two assistant managers, the one has seen it as stupid that i should use the men's room period, and my other boss she told me that if i can't use the family restroom as i usually have my kids so i do, or use the shop bathroom, i am to use the ladies, and if anyone has a problem with it they are to come see her, which her being the one of the only two female managers, i'm sure they will. but i don't foresee it being a problem. the situation has been explained to the co-man and she said whatever makes me happy. gotta love the people from Florida and Cali...lol.

Way to go, Mickie. I could never understand why the restroom is such an issue, anyway. I've even heard of fistfights over it, how stupid! Am I missing something to the fact that they are sacred ground, or something silly like that? Europeans don't have this hangup, why should we tight-assed Americans?

it's a very good question,Nickie!! to me it seems to me around here, that there are ONLY TWO types of people---MALE and FEMALE. there is NO in between, no nothing else, if you are anything else you're a freak because you don't fit their "stereotypical norm". and tbh, i asked most of the other ladies, i would be sharing the room with, ALL of them i asked said to my face, that they are NOT  uncomfortable with  me anywhere. this is why my gay boss figured it was more at a corporate level than at the store level, the older ladies are actually quite pleased and seem to understand a little more, it kind of saddens me that it really should be the other way around as the younger generation is growing up with it.  but i am glad it's taken care of, i think people will soom forget about it, all except for one guy who's a real ass. i don't work with him much anymore since he left the dept. but i know if he initiates anything he'll be out the door.
