Ok, so yesterday I was out shopping for guys clothes, and a very unusual circumstance hit me. I was going to the men's fitting room, and I was told that nobody was coming to unlock the door by some other people. So, I rang the bell a few times myself.... nothing. But, the women's fitting room was open, and my mom and another lady told me to go use it after another guy was done. So, I'm thinking "Umm.... I shouldn't be going in there.... should I?" I got in, and just felt awkward with women's clothes around me, and looking at boy in front of me at the mirror. I thought I didn't belong in there, since I am a "boy" and was rather nervous. But, I did have a thought of wanting to try on the ladies clothes already in the room, but that could have caused havoc on the spot.

I was totally caught off-guard by this little, incident, and I was already tired, so I didn't know what to think exactly, and I just wanted to see what other people thought of this. It was just really awkward that it happened to ME.

Your mother and the other woman said it was ok so why worry? Keep in mind, the changing rooms don't actually have gender. There are going to be plenty of things in life to worry about without worrying about using the "wrong" changing room.
