While I can relate to feeling really desperate (as this person must have been) due to GID, there is no way that I would go to these kind of extreme lengths to rid of myself of the male parts. It is a miracle that this person did not die from blood loss.

I have castrated many animals and the blood loss is very minimal. If you have flour around you can stop the bleeding if there is any. I thought of it often but I guess I had good sense and had a professional do it. I guess I could have gone to my friends house and he could have done it, he has done lots of horses.
