Ya know, I dunno... the really weird thing this year is it just does NOT feel like my birthday. I KEEP forgetting about it, and even my WIFE says the same thing and nearly forgot it... which is unbelievably out of character for her. I dunno if it's because it seems associated with pre-transition life or what, but it's really odd... I actually feel GUILTY when people wish me a Happy Birthday, as it feels like I'm faking it or something, lol...

Ironically, both my wife and some of her/our friends independently mentioned that 10/15 almost seems more like Kate's birthday, as it was the day I did officially become "Kate."

Still... I just got one of THE best birthday presents in the world though: my doctor just called me to say my med tests are in, and I'm healthy for SRS! I'm like literally jumping up and down, lol, as I was sooooo worried something would be wrong... you KNOW how obsessive I can get. But that was the last hurdle! OMG, it's really, really gonna happen! FINALLY!

My last birthday EVER as a male. 44 years as a male... I think that's long enough

By the way, Kate, I just celebrated my birthday a couple of weeks ago and someone asked me if I was celebrating that day or March 13th?  I laughed and told them I celebrated June 6th as my natal anniversary and March 13th as my gender correction anniversary.
