Same-sex weddings start with union of elderly San Francisco couple

At 5:01 pm gay marriage resumed in Babylon by the Bay!  I froze my ta-tas off standing oustside city hall this afternoon waiting for something to happen.  It finally did when Mayor Gavin Newsom presented the happy couple to the crowd after nuptials in his office.  There was, of course, a contingent of fundies telling us we'd all burn in hell but about that time most of us would have appreciated the warmth.  >

BTW Nicole, there are lots of other great places to get married in California besides San Francisco.  Most of them are a lot warmer, too!
