"I have written intemperate things about maleness in this blog, especially in the early days. I know I've called testosterone a poison on at least one occasion. It's not, of course. That was just an emotional reaction. Testosterone is a powerful hormone, and it does seem to have an unfortunate connection to rage in (some) men, but it is no more a poison than estrogen or progesterone are."
